SK/ SKD
General Information
The SK-type recirculating unit, equipped with bearing balls, is a hardened and precision-ground component designed for use under light to medium loads. It is intended for use with Schneeberger linear guides of type R and/or RD. This solution is particularly suitable in applications where space is limited and load is equally distributed in all directions.
SK-type linear units in sizes 6 and 9 (and size 12 upon request) can be optionally equipped with damping elements (designated as SKD), which enhance motion smoothness, albeit with a slight reduction in permissible load capacity.
