AMS 3B
General Information
Schneeberger Monorail AMS 3B is an integrated measurement system designed for distance measurement on all protected axes of machine tools with high precision requirements. The AMS 3B system is based on a roller profiled guide (Monorail MR) with lengths up to 6 meters. Integrating the measurement system allows for the creation of very compact axes. Available control interfaces include a digital interface with various resolutions for different maximum speeds, as well as a 1 Vpp analog interface (signal period 200 µm). Reference marks can be positioned at 50 mm intervals or distance-coded.
Various lubrication and sealing options for the carriage allow maximum adaptability to application requirements. The easily replaceable reading head is the same for all sizes.
